Every FONO agency agrees to a set of recruitment rules. They protect streamers from being pulled between agents and protect agencies from losing the streamers they recruited. This article explains each rule and the penalties listed in the FONO Policy dated 08 December 2025.
Verification pending: the source text of the FONO Policy dated 08 December 2025 refers to “Kandy” in its recruitment restrictions. Treat the recruitment rules below as reported policy text until their applicability to FONO is confirmed, and check the current rules with your FONO agency manager.
Rule 1: No cross-agency recruitment
Agents must not recruit streamers from other agents. The source policy text states this rule “on Kandy”. In practice, this means you build your network from people who are new to the platform, not from another agent’s team.
Rule 2: No promotion of other platforms
Promoting other platforms is prohibited according to the supplied policy, which again refers to Kandy. Agencies should not use FONO to advertise competing apps to users or streamers.
Rule 3: One agent per streamer
A streamer cannot join multiple agents simultaneously. Each host belongs to one agency at a time, which keeps commission clear – the agency’s 10% is calculated on its own registered streamers’ earnings.
Rule 4: No recruitment of existing platform hosts
Agents must not recruit existing hosts from other agencies on the platform. Even if a host approaches you, check that they are not already registered with another agency.
Penalties for violations
| Violation | Penalty |
|---|---|
| First Offence | 100,000 Beans |
| Second Offence | 500,000 Beans |
| Repeated Violations | Commission deductions and possible termination of agency cooperation |
Why the penalties matter
A first-offence penalty of 100,000 Beans equals the entire minimum agency withdrawal. A second offence, at 500,000 Beans, equals the 10% commission on 5,000,000 Beans of streamer earnings. Repeated violations can lead to commission deductions and termination of agency cooperation.
Agency compliance checklist
- Ask every new recruit whether they are registered with another agent or agency.
- Keep a record of who you recruited and when.
- Never ask a streamer to register under two agents.
- Do not mention or promote other platforms in FONO conversations.
- Explain real call rates and that earnings are not guaranteed.
- Re-check the rules with your FONO agency manager when the policy is updated.
