Beans are the unit FONO uses to measure what streamers earn. To understand your balance in rupees you only need one number from the FONO Policy dated 08 December 2025: 1,000 Beans = ₹10.
The simple formula
Because 1,000 Beans = ₹10, it follows that 100 Beans = ₹1. So:
Rupees = Beans ÷ 100
And in reverse, Beans = Rupees × 100. For example, to reach ₹500 you need 50,000 Beans.
Quick conversion table
| Beans | Indian rupees |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | ₹10 |
| 5,000 | ₹50 |
| 10,000 | ₹100 |
| 20,000 | ₹200 |
| 50,000 | ₹500 |
| 100,000 | ₹1,000 |
| 200,000 | ₹2,000 |
| 500,000 | ₹5,000 |
| 1,000,000 | ₹10,000 |
The 100,000 / 200,000 / 500,000 / 1,000,000 rows match the official salary structure in the policy.
What the withdrawal thresholds are worth
- First streamer withdrawal: 5,000 Beans ≈ ₹50.
- Subsequent streamer withdrawals: 20,000 Beans ≈ ₹200.
- Minimum agency withdrawal: 100,000 Beans ≈ ₹1,000 at the same rate. The policy states the conversion in the streamer salary section, so agencies should confirm the rate shown in their account.
Per-minute earnings in rupees
Applying the conversion to call rates: a Level 1 host earns 100 Beans (₹1) per minute on video, and a Level 6 host earns 600 Beans (₹6) per minute on video or 200 Beans (₹2) per minute on audio. The full table is in FONO host earnings and salary structure.
Things to keep in mind
- The conversion is set by the platform and can change; always check the current rate in the app.
- Only eligible Beans can be withdrawn, and withdrawals need correct PAN details.
- Agencies earn 10% of eligible streamer earnings – see FONO agency commission explained.
